Ardtornish Estate

Energy Mutual has been working with Ardtornish Estate Company since 2019, as the company energy asset manager during a period of transition. As well as conducting the general operational activities for the energy business, Energy Mutual supported the recruitment of new team members and the development of operational processes.

The energy business consists of five hydropower assets and two woodchip biomass boilers as well as the energy consumption from 20+ properties and vehicle fuel usage. Energy Mutual is increasingly working with the Ardtornish team to consider the company energy usage as a whole and to move the company towards a carbon net zero operating position. As the local energy team at Ardtornish develops, Energy Mutual is supporting the team with more advanced energy performance data collection and analytics as well as management support in delivering infrastructure improvement projects.
